Product description

Silicone VMQ EA50-EA70 is a special material based on silicone rubber with integrated electrical conductivity. Through the targeted addition of conductive fillers – usually carbon black variants – the material achieves uniform conductivity across the entire volume.

This makes it ideal for technical applications in which a material must simultaneously seal and dissipate or shield electromagnetic fields – typically in measurement and control technology devices, in housings for telecommunications units, sensors or medical technology. In addition to its electrical conductivity, the material remains highly flexible, weather-resistant, durable and mechanically resilient. The Shore hardnesses from A50 to A70 offer an ideal balance between compression and restoring force – even in dynamic applications.
