Product description

The antibacterial silicone VMQ A40-A80 was specially developed for use in hygienically sensitive environments. It is based on high-quality silicone rubber, supplemented by antimicrobial additives that are incorporated directly into the compound. These additives have a long-term, wash-resistant effect – the antibacterial function is retained even after a long period of use.

The Shore hardnesses between A40 and A80 enable a wide range of geometries – from soft sealing lips to dimensionally stable profiles. The material can be extruded, cut, customised or bonded. Colour adaptations are also possible, e.g. for visual differentiation of hygienic areas.
