High-quality silicone round cords from BIW – individually developed, safely processed

Round cords from BIW are manufactured from hot-vulcanising silicone rubber (HTV) using modern extrusion processes. They are characterised by excellent thermal, mechanical and chemical properties and meet the highest quality and safety standards.

BIW silicone round cords are used wherever reliable sealing, elasticity and media resistance are required – for example in medical technology, the food industry, mechanical and plant engineering, aviation or sanitary and drinking water applications. Thanks to our in-house compounding, material parameters such as Shore hardness, colour or diameter can be precisely adapted – including approvals according to FDA, BfR, KTW or W270.

Special variants such as multi-component solutions, foam cores or versions with surface finishes (e.g. slip-optimised, electrically conductive or antibacterial) can also be implemented. All BIW round cords are manufactured under strict quality control – for maximum service life, functionality and safety.
