Product description

Silicone profiles from BIW are individually manufactured from HTV or LSR silicone using the extrusion process. In addition to classic cross-sections such as U, P, D or H profiles, complex special shapes can also be produced according to drawings – precisely tailored to the respective application.

These sealing and functional profiles are used in areas such as food and medical technology, autoclaves, household appliances, mechanical engineering and automotive engineering. Thanks to in-house compounding, hardness, colour, material properties and approvals (e.g. FDA, BfR, KTW, W270) can be specifically configured.

BIW also offers extended solutions such as profiles with a foam inner core, coated surfaces (sliding, adhesion-promoting, dirt-repellent) or co-extrudates with plastic, metal or fabric – depending on the sealing function, installation position or standard specification.
