• The complete conformity documentation, in particular EU declarations of conformity and technical documentation, is prepared and retained by the respective manufacturers. These documents are submitted to the relevant market surveillance authorities in accordance with legal requirements.
• To the extent that transitional or cut-off date provisions apply to individual requirements of the PPWR, the conformity assessment is conducted taking into account the applicable effective date as well as the date on which the packaging in question was placed on the market. Existing stock may continue to be used and placed on the market as long as the applicable legal requirements are met.
