Low-friction silicone from BIW has been specially developed for applications in which conventional silicone surfaces cause too much friction. Targeted surface refinement or material combinations result in a silicone that is easier to install, move or use – without compromising on elasticity or thermal resistance.
This property is particularly in demand for cable bushings, protective sleeves, sealing profiles or connecting hoses that have to be installed or moved frequently. The material is ideal for the automotive industry, medical technology, electrical installations and device construction.
Available as a hose, profile, cord or sealing system – with additional functions such as colour, flame retardancy or food approval on request.
