Product description

HighQSil® FR Railway Sponge 055 is a flame-retardant silicone foam material that meets the highest requirements of the railway industry. It has been specially designed for use in sealing and insulation applications in railway vehicles – with an optimum balance of fire protection, elasticity and weight saving. The material fulfils the strict standards of EN 45545-2 (R22/R23, HL3) and impresses with its low smoke emission and environmental compatibility.

Thanks to its sponge-like structure, the product is extremely flexible and can be easily adapted to a wide range of installation geometries. With its constant elasticity, it is ideal for applications such as door and window seals, cable bushings and insulation pads in train cabins or technical areas.
