Product description

Heatable silicone profiles from BIW are the ideal solution for applications where an additional heat source is required – be it to prevent condensation, for frost protection or for targeted heating of technical components. The heating conductors are integrated directly into the silicone profile in a co-extrusion process and permanently embedded.

Thanks to the elastic and temperature-resistant properties of the silicone, the profile remains flexible and easy to install. The heatable systems can be used on doors, pipes, sealing surfaces or housings, for example – wherever heat is required but bulky heating elements cannot be installed.

Customised adaptations in terms of output, control, connection type or design are easily possible – even for safety-critical or hygienic applications.
