Product description

Antibacterial silicone profiles from BIW have been specially developed for hygienically sensitive applications. Defined additives in the silicone matrix effectively inhibit the growth of bacteria, germs and fungi on the surface – without the need for a separate coating.

The profiles are manufactured from HTV silicone using an extrusion process and are resistant to temperature, chemicals and UV radiation. Thanks to their permanently elastic properties, they can be used in sealing systems, as closures or guide elements – wherever hygiene, safety and durability are required.
