Product description

The combination edge protection profile from BIW combines the protective function of a classic U-profile with the sealing properties of an integrated sealing lip. This design is particularly suitable for applications where both mechanical edge protection and reliable sealing are required – such as doors, flaps or machine panelling.

The high-quality silicone material is permanently temperature and UV-resistant, elastic and resistant to many media. The metal insert ensures a permanent clamping effect on the component, while the sealing lip remains flexible during movement and moulds itself back to the mating surface.
