Edge protection profiles with metal inserts – tailor-made solutions for reliable protection

BIW edge protection profiles reliably protect sensitive component edges and sealing areas from external influences. They are equipped with stabilising metal inserts and can be combined with either a sealing lip or foam element. Thanks to a wide range of variants – e.g. U-profiles, sealing profiles with upper or side sealing attachment or LED clamping profiles – the profiles are suitable for a wide variety of applications in vehicle, machine and housing construction. Depending on requirements, they are chemical- and temperature-resistant, electrically insulating, abrasion-resistant or highly elastic – and, on request, also available with LFS surface finishing for reduced dirt adhesion.
