The SPU hoses from BIW combine the excellent media resistance of PTFE with the elasticity of high-quality silicones. The inner PTFE hose is almost chemically inert and particularly smooth, while the silicone coating provides mechanical protection, flexibility and temperature resistance. The ideal solution for applications with high hygiene, pressure and chemical requirements.

Product description

The SPU hoses from BIW consist of an internal PTFE hose embedded in a silicone-based sheath. This combination unites the best of both materials: the chemical inertness and non-stick effect of PTFE with the temperature and flexural strength of silicone. This makes SPU hoses the first choice for media routing in laboratories, pharmaceutical production, the food industry or in technical systems with aggressive media.

The outer layer reliably protects the sensitive PTFE inliner from mechanical stress and temperature stress. Different wall thicknesses, diameters and combinations (also with impregnation or additional reinforcement) allow the hose to be customised to meet many individual requirements.
