The SMB hoses from BIW combine a peroxide-cured, chlorine-free silicone with an integrated PES monofilament reinforcement – for maximum pressure stability and flexibility at the same time. The outer coating of coloured silicone provides additional protection against external influences. Whether in industry, mechanical engineering or food technology, these high-performance hoses are made for a wide range of applications.

Product description

The SMB series from BIW stands for durable and flexible pressure hoses with internal PES reinforcement and peroxide-cured silicone as a base. The robust construction can withstand pressures of up to 30 bar and remains extremely flexible. The red silicone outer coatings ensure improved visibility, protection against external influences and a high-quality appearance.

Thanks to the wide range of inner diameters (e.g. from 4 mm to 190 mm) and wall thicknesses (e.g. 2.0-60.0 mm), the SMB series can be used universally – at temperatures from -40 °C to +160 °C.
