The pressure-resistant silicone hoses in the SGB PT (with glass fibre reinforcement) and SPB PT (with PES yarn) series combine outstanding mechanical strength with maximum material purity. Thanks to platinum-cured silicone, integrated fabric reinforcement and a transparent or white silicone cover, they are ideal for hygienically sensitive applications such as food production, medical technology, pharmaceuticals or cleanroom areas. The variety of dimensions, wall thickness and Shore hardness offers solutions for a wide range of requirements – from tight bending radii to large internal diameters.

Product description
The SGB PT and SPB PT hoses are high-performance pressure hoses with a textile inlay made of glass fibre (SGB) or polyester yarn (SPB) and a transparent or white silicone coating. Thanks to the platinum cross-linked production and the use of raw materials in accordance with BfR XV, FDA CFR 21 §177.2600 and in some cases USP Class VI, they are suitable for hygienically demanding media. Depending on the type, the temperature range is between -40 °C and +180 °C and the burst pressure is up to 40 bar, depending on the dimensions and armouring.
The hoses are available in coils of 25 m to 50 m and can be supplied in various sizes, Shore hardnesses and coating colours – also with increased wall thickness for large cross-sections. Special variants, such as SPB PT with PES yarn or SGB PT with a white outer cover, round off the portfolio.
